COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - The South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC) announced 447 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 and 12 confirmed deaths Tuesday, April 13. This information is accurate as of April 11.
Today’s report brings the total number of people with confirmed cases since the outbreak began to 472,310 and confirmed deaths remain at 8,177.
All of the confirmed deaths occurred in April, DHEC reported.

DHEC also announced 256 new probable cases of the virus and 1 new probable death. That brings the total of probable cases to 91,818 and the total number of probable deaths at 1,112 in the state since the outbreak began.
